View Full Version : What's happens to Manu's legacy if Boris Diaw wins Finals MVP

3 players in the Spurs era will have won Finals MVP - Duncan, Parker, Diaw.

What does that make Manu Ginobili? 2nd best bench player?

Who wants to see the Spurs play a few more games to give Manu some shine?

It doesn't hurt his legacy in the slightest tbh.

Manu will still have 4 NBA rings, 1 Olympic gold, a Sixth Man trophy, two All-Star selections, a Euroleague title, a Euroleague Finals MVP, an Italian Cup MVP, and two Italian League MVP trophies. His legacy is untouchable.

This guy just suggested the Spurs should lose some games for Manu... Perfect definition of a Manutard

Manu doesn't need a Finals MVP to establish his legacy with the Spurs.

Boris winning FMVP would not just hurt Manu's legacy, but probably also keep him out of the HoF. Will also hurt Gervin and Robinson's legacies, so the HoF will throw them out.

Shit we might as well just throw Fisher into the HOF As well

This x2. Kwahi has to be your front runner for MVP at this juncture. Dude is in Apex Predator mode fo sho.

Fuq Manu. He had his chance last year and won Finals MVP for Miami.

I want us to win Game Five and be done with it and I hope Manu only scores two points. Screw individual success. This is a team!

This.

The only salvation for his legacy is winning this title, this year. Now.

Manu goes on a killing spree and is sent to a San Antonio jail to live out the rest of his life.

It's Kawhi's to lose. The series turned dramatically when he came online in game 2.

Diaw won't get the MVP. I think TD or Kawhi will get the MVP. Even Manu still has a chance..

What?
Are you a Spurs fan or not?
You talk like you are not.
And if Manu only scores one point then we skirt losing, but he does so much more than that.
The Spurs are a +60 when he is on the court, and in this series the intelligent fan wants him on the court directing things more than Tony.
There is no doubt you are a total idiot when it comes to basketball. I don't know who is worse, TGY, you, or Hater.
With fans like you the Spurs don't need enemies.
You are the Heats best fan more so than Manu is the Heats best player, if you want the sad TRUTH about it.
Manu was not FMVP last year, idiot, James was.
In case you missed the memo, Manu thankfully plays for the Sours, not the Heat as you constantly allege.
Own up to how totally wrong you have been about him all year, and be a man and admit you are and were wrong!

Nothing can affect Manu's legacy. MVP is up for grabs between Kawhi, Duncan, Boris and TP in that order IMO. I'd like to see Tim win it.

I think Boris gets it, he has done everything all series long. Leonard didn't really start showing his stuff until the last two games.
Manu is a +60 whenever he is on the court, then Boris is second, followed by Timmy, and twice as much as Tony.

Diaw doesn't have the stats to get it.. +- Yes but all the media is going to look at is his PPG probably.. Tony could still get it leading the team in scoring but it should be Leonard..

The spurs are a team, and play like a team, the MVP is the team, all the players are involved and commited, no MVP at all, except for the team. Manu is far from being th best player in this series, and it is not important at all, the FMVP and all those stats are crap. Anyway, the Spurs are not the champions as far I know, no hurry, do not open the champagne bottles.

The team as a whole should get it so far.
But still one last game to win.
