If you think about it it could be argued that his 5 best games of his career have all occurred in the Finals.

Dude is clutch.

Also, I am pretty sure this is the first time he has had back-to-back 20+ pt games.

Games 3 and 4 of this year's finals are better than anything he did last year. Last year he did contribute a bunch and put up numbers, but he never looked like the best player on the floor

Pretty much this. He wasn't really a big factor last year aside from his defensive presence — this year, he's taken a huge leap forward in offensive efficiency.

He did have 22 and 11 in game 6 last year and 19 and 16 in game 7. That's pretty darn good.

Really? Were you watching the same series as everyone else?

Yup. Kawhi was huge last year. It was TP and Manu that let the team down.

Yes, but didn't have the same defensive impact because the coaching staff made him play like 10 feet off Lebron.

Two games yes, the other two you can easily find two other games that he's ever played in that were better games.

I did watch, and at no time did he leave as much of an offensive presence as he did last year in any game like he has been playing in games 3 and 4. Remember, Pop didn't even really run plays for Kawhi until this season... Now he's taking a lot of shots and getting to the rim.

Not sure if srs... Leonard was the only thing keeping the Spurs in Game 7 for so long in the fourth.
