The only former Spur that should get a ring is DeJuan for that head kick in game 4 tbh.

As a minority owner Robinson will. He will partially pay for it but he is entitled to one.

You're not seriously implying we would've lost to the Mavs had that not happened are you? I mean, I know your post wasn't in blue font but just checking.

Sure he does. He put in the work, he just doesn't fit in on this team. Dude was at every practice and worked hard.

Neal is severely overrated on this board. Yes, he had some good moments and had no fear, but he couldn't play D, couldn't handle the ball or pass it.

:lol that play was huge tbh. People are gonna forget that, but without that kick, there's a good chance the Spurs are down 3-1 to Dallas.

Rick Carlisle should get one as part of the coaching staff. He heads the Oposition Forces and Strategies department.

He should've had one last year, kinda sucks for him.

No, Blair was suspended Game 5, which was a game we controlled to the extent that Blair playing likely wouldn't have made a difference since it gave Carter more minutes that game and he torched us for 28 points.

Best team to never ring. Pure robbery at the hands of the Rockettes.

That kick happened at the end of Game 4 when Dallas had all the momentum. Blair was killing us until that kick and then he got ejected and the Spurs are able to turn the momentum around. If he doesn't kick Splitter, there's a good chance Dallas wins that game and go up 3-1.

I don't even know why you're bringing up Game 5.

Robbery my ass. That clown on the left might as well have gotten down on 1 knee when he presented the ring to Hakeem.

Because Blair didn't play Game 5. So let me get this straight, you think we would've lost the series to the Mavs then had Blair not been tossed in Game 4 and suspended in Game 5? Well, I don't agree and this team is rightfully and deservedly in the position they are now in.

Uh, the Spurs win Game 5 regardless if Blair is playing or not. But they were down by 1 in Game 4 when DeJuan kicked Tiago and got ejected. He was killing us that quarter and the Mavs had all the momentum. You can say that his ejection doesn't have an impact on the end of Game 4 but you would be pretty dumb to say so.

I think if that doesn't happen, there's a good chance the Mavs win Game 4 and go up 3-1. Maybe the Spurs come back from a 3-1 series deficit, maybe they don't. Doesn't matter now in retrospect, but I'm not sure why this line of thinking confuses you.

I'd put the Blazers teams of the 80's/90's over Starks and Ewing.

It doesn't confuse me, your lack of giving your team credit to be where they are at just doesn't sit well with me but I'll respect your opinion. I just think the Spurs are the best team in the NBA.

:lol How am I not giving them credit? I'm just being realistic about the scenario that they were in during the 1st Round. The Spurs didn't play well until Game 7 of that series, it's okay to admit that. It doesn't take anything away from what they've done so far since tbh.
