Never thought of it like that, it would make for one hell of a storyline.

Now we are guaranteed victory Kawhi will play like a man possessed! Also I hear the A/C problem may still be an issue...

Yeah I hope ESPN touches on this, Kawhi is a great guy, it would be a nice way to pay respect to his father

If we do close out on Sunday, and any reporter dares brings this up, that would be disgraceful. That shit is over the line, the dude may act like a robot but he's human and exploiting that as a "storyline" would be despicable.

Unfortunately, it will be mentioned.

Cement the victory Sunday... do it for Kawhi and everybody else who suffered game 6 last year.

Wouldn't be a terrible thing to make a 30 for 30 on it imo. Any kind of national exposure like that can only be good for a possible lead to the murderer. Sure the media will exploit it to the fullest, but there is a positive light here, and it should be shared with the rest of the world. Not a lot of Spurs fans (myself included) know about it this, it definitely explains his quiet and fierce nature.

A dominant performance by Whi and a win would most likely land him a Finals MVP trophy.

Agreed that it'd be bittersweet for Kawhi, but he wouldn't be thinking about it at all.

On the other hand, Drob had his final game and :lobt2: on 2003 Father's Day. What a coincidence if Duncan has the same this year (not to suggest TD retires after this.)
