There shouldn't be too much big celebrating, bragging, or trash talking by Spurs fans to any other team's fans. The Spurs have been the favorites to win the championship all season long. When they got the league's best record for the regular season, that was no surprise. When they beat OKC in the WCF's, that was no big surprise. Kawhi Leonard is a better player than Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Durant excelled in the regular season but Kawhi is excelling where it counts, the postseason.
The Spurs have been the best team in all of American sports since 1997. The Spurs have always recovered from major upsets. They recovered from 0.4 by winning the title in 2005. They recovered from that Game 7 Manu foul on Dirk in 2006, by winning the title in 2007. This year will just be another title to add to the comeback collection. After 28 seconds of Game 6, they will now win the title in 2014. The titles should have been their's in 2004, 2006, and 2013, but they were given away. We really could be looking at 8 championships in the Duncan era this year.
As for this Finals, the Spurs are just doing what they're supposed to do. They are not going into the Heat's building and pulling off any shocks or upsets, the Spurs were the heavy favorites in this series. Kawhi is now better than Lebron. Dwayne Wade is the later Shawn Kemp now. Chris Bosh is the later Penny Hardaway.
