Would we be in this position if we won last year?

6 gets brought up all the time still and probably will never go away. But assuming we pulled it off last year, do you think we would be in the same position we are now and have the same domination? The loss last year has fueled them in the regular season, playoffs and now the finals especially facing the same team they lost to. Perhaps we wouldn't have gotten as far without the fire it sparked. Assuming we pull tonight out, would it be sweeter to win last year and be content with not getting it this year, or coming all the way back from that loss mentally, getting thru some of the 3 hardest matchups in the West and then taking out the team who stole it from them the year before? We may have been more lax if we had that 2013 ring. Thoughts?

No way to definitively tell. The only way I as a fan would ever have accepted losing last year the way the series was lost was for the Spurs to get back this year and win it. Yeah I would've preferred a back to back chance but this is as good as it gets.
