I know this sounds retarded, but pop did it in a few occasions in games 3 and 4 to keep him out of foul trouble.

If you were coach, would you hide him on Lewis or some other scrub the first quarter or so?

No. Not in the first quarter. You let a player as good as LeBron get rolling and it's almost impossible to slow him down. Maybe a little in the second if there is a lead.

It would make sense but I would love for him to guard James in the 2nd half of the 2nd quarter just to say he defended the King and stopped him in a closeout game

Mix it up. Save his energy level as well so he can score more. I wouldn't have him guard James on every single possession. Green and Diaw should share the load as well.

Mix it up a little bit. Kawhi just needs to stay away from the silly fouls of game 2 - just pushing scrubs down.

Every foul taken needs to be on James. Hard fouls too to break lebron down a little bit.

Bonner guarded him a little too, if you can call it that.

However you've been doing it seems to be working. You don't change what's working, not at this level, not now.
