Not international myself, but recently moved to Monterrey, MX. On CST like I was before, and the game is on ESPN here. So besides a great deal more Spanish than I'd be used to, everything's good for me watch the Spurs clinch their 5th title! :flag:

You live in Latvia? The one Latvian I've ever met was from Riga, was gorgeous, and said she wouldn't even be considered particularly not in her country. Was she just being modest, or is walking through the city like visiting a candy shop for your dick?

Yep, in Riga. There are many many beauties in Latvia. Lots of bloodlines Russian, Scandinavian and native Latvian mixing. Tall blondes and beautiful redheads. Not a pickup town though, Latvian culture is comparative reserved. You need to get to know people. Gorgeous city for beaches and architecture too.

You a native? An expat? Where people end up, and how, is of great interest to me. After spending a week in Budapest, eastern Europe is at the top of my list of places to explore further.

I love Budapest. No, I'm an American from Nevada. I write about Eastern Europe so I've lived in Ukraine, Russia, Estonia and Latvia. (As well as Canada and UK).

Wow, super interesting! Well, we both have something a little more immediately compelling going on atm than my personal/professional interest, but could I send you a pm sometime to ask you a few questions about what's led you from Nevada to this international life of yours? I'm trying to work myself towards a kind of life very much like what you seem to be living, and would greatly appreciate the chance to pose you a few questions. :)

Sure man, send me a message whenever you want. (Though it's late here so I may not get a chance for a detailed answer for a a day or so, especially after my anticipated debauchery celebrating the Spurs championship:flag:). I can also send you a link or two on my experiences.

Cheers!:toast

Out of curiosity: Is there a lot of traffic on the site? How are the servers holding Slomo? I remember that back when the internet wasn't so developed the forums used to have problems on Finals day.

Yep, 3k users and growing. The servers are holding nicely for now. The latest upgrade by Muki doing it's job.

hahaha Absolutely man, if/when we close it out tonight I'll be riding the tequila train for a couple days myself. But that's cool, and I appreciate it, the chance to pick your brain a bit, or really just learn how you've done what you've done. But for the time being, Go Spurs Go!!! :flag:

After all those years, SPURS finally made it and I am extremely happy. I was a non-believer at first with so little additions to SPURS roaster in prior years and I am here to eat crow. Congratulations to the SPURS and all the believers. Congratulations to Pop, TD, TP, Manu, KL and the remaining team members. It finally shows that a cohesive basketball team can beat a manufactured Champion team.
