I'm happy. I was expecting a close game but I'm extremely happy right now. Congrats to the true fans who didn't give up on the squad!

This is historical. Not even in 2007 when we swept the cavs I felt like we were just flat out THAT much better than the other team. This is historical. It's like the teams are in two completely different tiers.
Shows you how good the west is. Miami just crushed the east with no problems, spurs had troubles from first round till the WCF.. and now they're just destroying the best the heat had to offer with no effort

Nobody gave up. Some just profess reality. With all the heartbreak the Spurs have delivered over the years you can't blame them. Us.

When the final seconds start ticking off, that's when the emotions will start flowing for me. I feel it below the surface, but I wanna see some more blood first.

Tonight, now that the series is over, I'm crying for the RIGHT reasons!
Manu or Kawhi? Who's the Finals MVP?
Manu was the one that pulled S.A.S. collective heads outta their @$$es and turned this game around. I'm cool with Obi-Wan Ginobili getting Finals MVP.
Fuck man remember game 6 and the after effects? Fuck lol what a year

strangely, I feel more relief than happiness. almost some shock and disbelief, even though I was never much of a cliff jumper than some on here.
I guess it hasn't quite sunk in. my head was a whirlwhind during this game. I tried my best to just accept whatever outcome would happen, and that the most deserving team win. I wanted this more than I let on, but whenever I covet something, it blows up in my face so I tried to make peace with that.
I'm most happy for Pop and Duncan. I just wanted them rewarded for their faith and trust, and for the city as well.

I didn't get emotional at all. I did tear up after 6 last year. However, I quickly moved on and I KNEW WE COULD DO THIS. 6 proved it for me.

I started crying at about the 2 minute mark of the 4th quarter. Seeing the crowd cheering for Timmy, Tony and Manu as they exited the game really got to me. And then seeing Timmy with his kids and hearing his post game interview with Doris Burke - wow, he was trying so hard to hold it together. And seeing AJ and David there - it was just all so awesome. I'm so happy for the Spurs - I think this championship is the sweetest because it's been so long and they had to fight so hard after last year. I'm so pumped, there's no way I'm going to be able to sleep any time soon. I'm just sad that I'm in Michigan now and not in San Antonio to celebrate.

Man seven years to wait. I have been a fan since the ABA and I have had my share of ulcers. Time for the young fans to get a taste of glory as we older fans go into the background.

Called my 79 year old grandfather who lives and bleeds Spurs, grew up on the southside of San Antonio, still lives in the same house in Valley High. We had a pretty awesome moment on the phone...Thank you Spurs for making that possible.
