3.2 ppg in the 4th quarter in these finals and he is happy with 50% in the last 4 years. Can you imagine Jordan saying this? :lol

Lebrawn is classy, but idk how you can honestly say that 50% is good in the finals lol He's actually 2-3, 11-16 in games. Not 100% his fault, but can't tell me that's pretty good actually

OP got it slightly wrong, he said we went to the finals 4 years in a row and won 2, I'll take 50% anytime like that.

How was I wrong though? He said I lost 1, won 2, then lost 1 again. 50% is pretty good actually for winning championships, I'll take that

Bron's GOAT aspirations are tarnished, he know's 50% is good enough to cement himself into top 10 discussion.
(too bad he needs 1 more to even his 2-3 record)

Your thirst for blood has never been sated following '84, eh?

Curious, did they hold the Celtics feet to the fire back then?

LBJ was amazing the whole finals -- on offense.

Riley got complacent. Couldn't make up for Wade's being off.

They only count the wins tbh. Phil Jackson lost twice in the Finals and got swept out of his coaching career by the first team to push the Heatles' shit in (which btw we just usurped that claim having not only beaten them but thoroughly embarrassing them)

No one has mentioned it but me, but Lebron didn't have any legs. Even on his few dunks he barely got off the ground relative to how he normally would finish. He's likely got some health issues he's not discussing.

You mean in '85? No. They all had sprained ankles and the 2-3-2 format was unfair.

And when they started with the sprained ankles, Jabbar took his people aside and warned them sternly to not be dissuaded from their appointed rounds, that it was an age old trick perpetrated before by these humps.

No. Duncan will also still be cloaked in the shit bag, until at least next June.

He's likely got some health issues he's not discussing. That would help explain his lackluster D. So many of their players looked like they need to retire though, riles has his work cut out for him. At this point I'd say LBJ is the only untouchable pending some serious evaluation of Wade.

Someone will bring up his condition this summer. He cannot hide it forever. If you just look at his highlights you'll notice he has no lift, and his transition is slow whereas in the past he was a bigger version of RW on the break.

I know what you're talking about, but I'm not going to rule out plain ol' overuse at this point. They really expect him to do everything for that team.

No, I've had a year to gird my loinage. I knew this was coming, said so many moons ago. I was the first in fact. It was simple from the get go:::Pop knew he had them figured out. He just fucked up, (he) did. Him. Not Miami, not James. Just Pop. That is powerful knowledge and knowledge that warmed Pop's cockles over the months. His only worry would be if Riley saw it, recognized it and planned his way out. A wise man would've went on from last June. Riley was not wise. He, for some fuckin' reason did not learn his lessons from New York state. Let's see if Pop goes on from this point. It isn't what happened last nite which will define him & his. It's what he does from that point forward.

losing a finals series by a total of 70 points ain't too bad either, tbh. At least 4-1 seems better than 4-0, despite the pt difference.

This had the '04 Finals written on it from the start. Instead of Daddy & Kobe asses & elbows it was James wandering around for 5 games. He never got settled. Had a bee in his bonnet, a burr in saddle, ants in his pants. It was even more uncomfortable watching him. A quarter century ago? They'd (Media) woulda got the rail they used on many a Laker and road his ass out.

LeBron's 40% if you count 2007.

And imo losing by the largest point differential EVER in a 4-1 Finals series is worse than just getting swept in close games. He just looks lucky to win the one and otherwise did not belong there. In fact now he looks lucky to have won last year too imo. Even his 4 Finals appearance's look weak now because of his shitty conference and how badly he got crushed this time.
