the officiating on 1st quarter was apalling...

That foul call Diaw got on lebrown's drive :lmao

From an entertainment perspective, it felt like the league wanted to showcase james in the 1st Q to perpetuate the narrative that this nigga needs help. But yeah, that 1st Q was absolute shit.

Except for a couple of calls i didnt think it was that bad, miami was def the more aggressive team so i had no problem with it

Oh please. It was really bad as I recall. OKC levels of bad. The refs defenitely helped stake Miami's lead. But then Spoelstra put in Battier and he proceeded to piss everyone in the building off including the refs. After that there were no more free dinners for the heat.

Agreed somewhat. One was legit and the other defenitely had a very Fisher-esque quality to it. Which I didn't have a problem with given the earlier anal raping.

:lol

It was a hilariously ridiculous call but pretty much to be expected from the league given the circumstances of the heat. The refs /league was just dying to get there little "comeback kid" "backs against the wall" Mush mush storyline some cred.

It certainly seemed that way :lol

I just can't get over the fact that Diaw was mid-air with literally a foot of space in between and they still blew the fucking whistle :lmao

Even if it was a goaltend. Thankyou Splitter for that block om Wade.

Evens out the goaltend that Ibaka got away with on Ginobili that at least 1 ref had to have seen and swallowed a whistle on.

Because I honestly don't think any ref saw that the ball hit backboard first. Anyway the midair Wade saw Splitter coming and about to stuff his shot appeared to toss the ball at the backboard trying to induce a goaltend. Which ended up backfiring.

Yup and it definitely would of been much sweeter if it was on Lebron but hell i'll take it nonetheless.

I remember thinking that the NBA really wanted this series to go on for longer with the way the refs called the game in the 1st Q. Then Spurs basketball happened and there was nothing anybody could do about it: not the Heat, not the refs, not anybody.

The Spurs went +33 over the final 41 minutes of the game. At one point the Heat had scored 22 points in 24 minutes.

I am still in shock with how fast that game swung in our favor after the Heat started off so good.
