Matt will be gone next year because he made $3.9mil this year and that money will have to go to Boris or Patty.
I love Matt but he didn't play alot this year and was even out of the bench rotation. He played a lot of garbage time....
Will probably sign with Philly or Toronto.

Bonner will be back for the vet minimum. Book it.

It wouldn't shock me if the Spurs brought Matty back on a really, really small deal.
It also wouldn't shock me if Matthew "2 Rings" Bonner were to call it a day as a player and immediately find another role in the Spurs organization.

I think you're right on both counts. Bonner will play one more year, maybe two, on a minimum deal and then join the front office. He can still contribute garbage minutes and first-half minutes against bad teams. Duncan is going to need a regular season minutes sponge more than ever.

I can see this. Matt has a home here. Unless a team tries to pry him away he still provides the threat of outside shooting decent hustle and mad blogging and youtube skills. The Spurs got and could continue to get value from his presence.

My sentiments exactly. Bonner is still king in the +\- in the regular season.

Yeah, I think he's likely back on a minimum deal.

Bonner will be back as a coach. He will learn the trade from Pop. He will have a couple of years and he will be a head coach somewhere and will do a better job than most with less talent.

A second championship for the Big Four.
How can the league stop the dynamic four-some of Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and Bonner?!

They had to tell Matt the champagne was for spraying not drinking.... LOL
He makes videos and is not afraid to get in front of a camera. If he isn't a coach or
in a office when he retires, he will probably be a color guy on games....

If the last 5 years have taught us anything, it is that if Matt Bonner is one of your top 7 or 8 guys, you're probably not going to be anything close to elite, but if Matt Bonner is your 11th or 12th guy, he's a wonderful piece who can do enough of the right things to really help your team to slog through a regular season and get deep into the playoffs. As maligned as Bonner is at times, it would be difficult to find too many guys who will compete the way he does, despite his physical limitations, and who will be as ready to do what's necessary with inconsistent playing time. If he wants to come back, I think the Spurs could certainly do worse than having him back in that role as a 4th or 5th big.
If you think about it, during this run, the Spurs got something useful from pretty much everyone on the roster (save, probably, for Jeff Ayres, who never really had a chance to play at a meaningful time, and the guys who were inactive throughout). Obviously, they got what they needed from the starters, Diaw, Mills, Ginobili, and Belinelli. But Baynes was remarkable in Game 1 against Portland; Cory's dunk in Game 4 at OKC -- even though a loss -- set the tone for the Spurs in Games 5 and 6 and he gave them quality minutes in the second half of Game 6 when they needed that boost; and even Bonner's ability to give a few minutes here and a few minutes there, even without much statistical contribution, to spell Diaw and allow rotations to stay intact without major concessions to OKC and MIA was significant. And that's just a microcosm of what those guys did at various times between Halloween and Father's Day to help this team get to the finish line.

Oh good point about his left hand. I didn't look close enough.
And I didn't hear any of his interviews last night.
