View Full Version : Europe: The Spurs Would Have Won Without Jim

Jim only had one good game... the rest he was subpar. No matter who played horrible the Spurs easily won. No matter who was brought off the Spurs bench they played well. This team has no stand out players. Just like Durant and I have been saying... its the system.

You didn't address the issue at hand here. I simply said the team didn't need him. I can think of 20 bigs that can duplicate what Jim did.

Duncan had a phenomenal playoff run, tbh, amazing for a player his age.

Outscoring OKC by himself pretty much shows that we needed him to get here.
and if Duncan didn't go 9/10, who knows about game one. He's our captain.

Yup. He could've gone record-chasing and be toast for the playoffs... instead he got the records AND the LOBT...

fact is most of the games in this series were easy games, so Timmy didn't need to play that hard imho especially after Leonard stood up big. Without Leonard coming out big Duncan would've averaged 20+10 tbh.

This sums up my point. You guys had an easy road to the finals. Your toughest team was an old Dallas team that put up a fight only due to it being a rivalry. Everyone else sucked.

We're just too stacked this year even the cHeat ain't no match to us.

It's admirable, I'll give you that. You're the Patty Mills of the NBA forum... doing more than you should be with what you have.

What I like most about you is that you win a championship every year.

except last year imho, my LM troll had already been banned when the Great Satan rang last year tbh. :lol
Until something miraculous happens, it's Duncan>Kobe. It's the Kobe reality, tbh.

Duncan's adjutted WARP is -1 in this series, so Spurs win in 6 without him imo
Kobe's in 2010 finals was a solid 0.9, an incredible 2.5 in 2009.
Duncan's in 2003 was 2.9, Shaq had 3.2 and 3.3

Never seen lakerfan work so hard tbh.

It's nearly impossible for them to prove that Kobe is equal to Duncan let alone better than him. The 5th ring changed the legacy of both players and we all know who is the better overall player after the celebration yesterday.

Haters have a lot of ground to cover now that we have 5 and are a legitimate threat at getting 6. :lol
