I can't believe he got a 2nd MVP without getting to a Finals. He gives Choke Paul hope of winning the award.Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous that him and Kidd have two MVPs each. That's as many as Duncan and they haven't had anywhere near the success he's had.

Who were they supposed to give the 2006 MVP to? Kobe? A guy putting up empty stats on a shitty team. Nash validated the award when he owned Kobe in the first round that year. Kobe choked hard after going up 3-1 and quit on his team in the elimination game 7. Meanwhile, Nash and the Amare-less Suns made the Conference Finals.

I do agree his 2005 MVP was overrated. If Duncan didn't have ankle problems in the second half of the season I think he would have won that MVP.
