A charity golf tournament benefiting the Kids Sports Network
Spurs star Bruce Bowen will host this year's KSN Golf Tournament that raises funds to support the KSN resource library, web site, newsletter and other community service programs that benefit youth sports. Bruce Bowen's "good sports FORE kids" Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Canyon Springs Golf Club The picturesque San Antonio course is located in the Stone Oak development about three miles north of loop 1604 and 3 miles west of highway 281.
Registration, lunch, practice and contests begin at 11:00 AM and the tournament tees off with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. An awards dinner and auction follows the tournament at approximately 6:30 PM. Bruce will be present at the tournament and will visit with participants. Auction items include trips, Spurs championship memorabilia and much more. Several Spurs players, former players and coaches are expected to be present as well.
Sponsorships range from $1,350 to $10,000 and a few individual player
slots and foursomes will also be available.
