The games in the 2007 Finals sweep were closer than this one. After the one seven years ago, Duncan approached James and hugged him. Duncan said several nice things, including, “This is going to be your league in a little while.”

Then Duncan added: “But I appreciate you giving us this year.”

Both laughed, and most thought that was true. Duncan was fading, James was emerging, and the following titles would likely be heading some place other than San Antonio.

... As it turns out, James is the one who should have thanked Duncan — for 2013.

I don't live in SA anymore, but whenever I come across a copy of the SAEN I skip straight to Buck.

Love how Israel Gutierrez said on Lockdown:

"Timmy himself didn't think, he would just take it back some day."

...and even stating that Timmy may be the best player ever! :downspin: :downspin: :downspin:

Yes, THE Israel Gutierrez!

We are living in a weird world.

That wasn't my thinking. It was more like "THE Israel Gutierrez that shit on the Spurs every single time he got a chance to do so".

:tu "They will return without the regret of 2013 because they figured out how to not lose Game 6. They avoided playing one."
