They want to change my neighborhood from an R-4, R-5 Residential Single-Family Districts to a NP-8 and NP-10 Neighborhood Preservation District
Is this good....bad? WTF are they doing? :lol
Our lots (on my side of the street anyway) back up to a major street and are over 10,000 square feet...does this prevent my neighbor from selling out and opening a strip club right next door? Should I support it or not?
:wtf :lol

My initial guess was correct -it has to do with maintaining residential spacing and layout. Check out http://www.sanantonio.gov/dsd/pdf/zone_permittedUses.pdf
It keeps people from subdividing lots.

To protect property values.......so I guess that's a good thing. I must not have been looking in the right spot. Thanks. :)
There goes my dream of building another house at the bottom of my lot and renting it out....or moving my kids into it. :fro :lol

Damn...I just looked up my house at BCAD, and the sqare footage of my lot is 24,390....or 90' x 271'.
That's a lot of damn fencing I have yet to finish. :depressed :lol
