Le Bron will spend the next weeks hanging around with Andy Varejao by the Rio de Janeiro..
Anyone notice how many compliments he's been sending the Spurs organization and the way they do things? I think the possibility of him leaving is pretty high at the moment.Maybe it waivers after he gets away from the moment..
Don't be surprised if some small market teams come up ..He's chasing legacy now. He has all the money in the world. He's definitely going to a good coach if he does leave..who implements a system. Man..what if Carlisle had Lebron.. :wow We all know Cuban could make it happen money wise.. he'd figure it out... It'll definitely be interesting to see who he considers.
"I just want to win" is only said by people who've historically not acted that way. James doesn't have to say that. He's not going to play for a team where his minutes and contributions are diminished. He's going to either stay with Miami or he's going to go to New York. I highly doubt Chicago gets him, since they aren't winning anything and Rose will reinjure after game 3 again. Cleveland wouldn't be a bad fit for him, but Dan Gilbert pretty much screwed the pooch on that, and Cleveland fans shit on him when he left.
In this order:
1. Miami
2. NY
3. LA Clippers
4. LA Lakers
5. Dallas Mavericks
6. Portland Trailblazers (with Lillard and Aldridge, would be a hell of a thing)

Have you looked at New York's cap situation man? There are only two real options for leaving Miami:
1. Dallas
2. Washington
If Duncan opts out and signs for the minimum the Spurs become option #3.

Report: Clippers Could Be Exploring Options To Acquire LeBron
Jun 17, 2014 9:25 PM EDT
http://basketball.realgm.com/images/nba/4.2/wiretap/photos/2006/James_LeBron_mia_140615.jpg
The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly exploring the possibility of creating enough cap space to sign LeBron James should he explore leaving the Miami Heat.
The Clippers could create cap space by trading away DeAndre Jordan and Jamal Crawford, while unloading Jared Dudley by attaching a future first round pick.
James is close friends with Chris Paul and those two would form a new Big 3 along with Blake Griffin.
There have previously been reports that the Heat could be amenable to a sign-and-trade if Griffin were to be traded.
James may elect to opt-in for the 14-15 season, which would allow him to have more options while seeing if the Heat can make one more run as currently constructed.

They could actually put together a pretty nice 7 man rotation. Bring Dalembert back at the $3.9 million team option, give James $20 million, Dirk $10 million, and tell Carter or Marion he can have the other $2 million to play for a ring.
G Calderon
G Ellis
F James
F Nowitzki
C Dalembert
6 Carter/Marion
7 Wright
Then they gotta hope for a ring-chaser or two to play for minimum.

I seriously think he's leaving, either this summer or in 2015.... Wade's selfishness is going to hinder Riley from making the team better, and you can tell LeBron's fed up with the collection of bums he's had to carry around, cover for, and take all the blame for in Miami....

Lay out for me exactly how the Clippers clear the cap space. The Simmons tweet CN referenced above is ridiculous, since no way LeBron is taking that kind of paycut. If the Rockets can somehow dump Lin and Asik for nothing they could have $19 million to give James, assuming they're bringing back Parsons and Daniels for the ridiculously low team options (might as well, since the cap hold would cost them $400,000 anyways).
An underrated destination could be Washington tbh... They have the cap space... Two very young stars so the window could virtually be open until he retires...

LeBron wants to go back to Cleveland, it's pretty apparent. But will he? Maybe not this time around, but I have no doubt that he will return eventually.
In my opinion, Bron is either staying in Miami or going back to Cleveland. Why would he want to go to the West where the competition is at its finest and he could be exposed a little more?
Cleveland is not exactly a luxurious city, but it is where he grew up, and they do have a talented young core in the terrible East that could instantly position themselves at the top of the conference with LeBron, the top pick this year (Wiggins?), and Kyrie.

:lol Lebron doesn't care about Finals losses, that's the stupidest stat that anybody actually uses to argue a point, tbh(not referring to the poster above me, but I've seen a lot of people use it, over the years)..losing in the Finals being worse than not making it to the Finals makes absolutely no sense..
Anyways, Lebron isn't leaving Miami, tbh, the alternative, realistic destinations are shitty..he's not going to publicly say he's staying in Miami, yet, as he has all the leverage and he's probably hoping Wade opts out and signs for less, since that's the only chance they have at any type of flexibility, especially knowing that Mickey Arison isn't Prokhorov..
Lebron is still by far the best player in the league, and Bosh is still a capable #2 guy..they just need to figure out Wade's role and situation..if he agrees to sign for less and they can manage some flexibility, they'll need to sign a PG and an athlete for the perimeter..if Miami had a Danny Green, they would be back on top of the league(there aren't many players that fit that mould, to be fair)..

Utah needed salaries to get to the league minimum and that is the reason they took those two contracts plus 3 picks.
Suns are probably the only team in need of Jordan's service and have the cap space to absorb this trade. Defensive centers with little to none offensive skills are not in high demand. Just ask Asik and the Rockets.
Jamal Crawford is a selfish player and a chucker. After seeing the Spurs win this season playing team ball with Parker being invisible for 3 out of the 4 series, most teams are going to want to avoid players like Crawford. Just look what happen to the Pacers after they trade for Evans (a me type of player).

Your quoting someone that spends half his day slobbing over lebron's dick...the guy is sorry tbh...:lol don't know why he still pretends to be a spurs fan

If I was Wade, I wouldn't take less money, because he'll never get a payday like this again, obviously..also, he sees Kobe getting 25 per year as an inferior player, so that would be tough to swallow for Wade..
But we'll see how badly he still wants to win, tbh..

He should come back to Cleveland. I don't think he will- at least not yet. But he should.

BS. It's a plant out of CT. Christ, use your fucking head, man. Same as the Melo to FL. story was. They're jerkin' your chain, selling their "papers" & wampum.
GD!!!
ESPN doesn't want LeBron to go back to Cleveland because their "personalities" don't want to come to Cleveland to cover his games, Cully. It's that simple.

Lebron won't came back to play for a Dan Gilbert-owned team after Lebron made all those anti-Sterling remarks, tbh..

6. Portland Trailblazers (with Lillard and Aldridge, would be a hell of a thing)
ny can't even sign patty mills and they are going to sign lebron? possible in theory, but ..

I agree. I meant that seeing Finals losses as negatives compared to losses in earlier rounds (as dumb as it sounds) is about the only way LeBron heads West.
I still see 2013 as the 6th-best season in Spurs franchise history. Losing game 7 of the Finals is better than any other non-championship outcome.

bron said after his vacation he would sit down with bosh and wade to discuss their future together. i think they're going to try to get wade to agree to opt out and re-sign for less. but wade isn't going for that, i wouldn't either and neither would bron or bosh. so its more than likely all 3 return.
Lebron should stay and see where things go next season. No one is going to challenge him in the East anyways so he'll have another shot in the finals. Then, he can always opt out and join the Spurs when Duncan and Ginobili retire after next season. Lebron loves being Magic Johnson and he can pass all he wants in Pop's system.
In all honestly, Pop's system truly fits Lebron's playstyle. Lebron can just pick up where Ginobili left off, although he'll probably want to start. There might be some tweaking involved since Lebron would require more touches and occasionally the ball will stick in his hands but that can easily be fixed by the current greatest coach in sports.

This, tbh....
First of all, Cleveland is a non-starter simply because of the combination of how they wasted seven years of his career and the infamous Comic Sans letter, tbh.... but let's pretend none of that happened - in order to even have a chance, the Cavs needed all their picks to pan out and basically become OKC East.... instead, Kyrie is just another Marbury-esque chucker and cancer, and they reached for Waiters and Bennett.... then they needed to appear to be a non-dysfunctional organization, yet the Mike Brown re-hiring/re-firing, the Bynum incident, and the debacle of this past season shows they're still a mess...
Pretty clear that all this Cleveland nonsense is being spread by LeBron's old high-school friends who are desperate to start mooching off him again, as Mark Heisler reported last year, but Media and casual fans still slurp it up :lol

That's like saying Kim Kardashian should do public television.

Miami is several miles above those other teams as far as landing spot for him however Houston has such a shitty coach that I highly doubt a true superstar would want to go there. If Lionel Hollins became the head coach that would change.
He cannot be seen to quit just because he lost in the Finals 1 year. For any other team that was a successful year. He has more opportunity to win championships in that city than any other city that he would likely go to.

I dont see him going to CLE at all. Why? Doesnt make sense.
If he wants to win (duh!) the smart thing to do is to stay in the east, and get to the finals every season.
He knows that he can take team to the finals almost by himself.
I just hope he goes to PHI...what about WAS!

Unload Jordan, Crawford, and Dudley for absolutely nothing, trade your draft pick, and you have $12 million to throw at James.
I just realized something - isn't the salary cap going up to $63 mil this year? So then we'd have more like $15 million to work with....

The Clippers have $73.6 million in committed salary. They need to drop that to $45 million or so to have any hope of getting James.

1.) A lot of roster flexibility (similar to the Celtics pre-2008, with Kyrie playing the Al Jefferson role)
2.) Just some delusional Cleveland Fan BS that I won't get into.

Not sure how much he cares about $, but if he can opt out, sign a cap friendly contract with the Heat for 2 additional years, and force the Heat to upgrade the roster.
Another way is to sign a lower than market value contract with a team that requires offensive production, like the Grizzlies, but that would require Randolph to opt out, and may need a sign and trade. Highly doubtful that would happen.
He can also, as mentioned earlier, sign with the Wizards, but Wall is a ball dominant player, and I am unsure if his playing style works with that of Lebron.
Finally, sign with the Spurs for $8M a year, he will still be the obvious top dog, but his legacy will be totally destroyed. But in this scenario, he can win a few more championships before the entire Spurs roster is done.
