I was a fan of Kawhi back when he was at SDSU. Y'all are bandwagon Kawhi fans. :hat

Just wondering, did TP receive this much hype after his Finals MVP?

Yes and no. There was a lot of talk about Tim passing the torch to Tony, but it wasn't really the same, since it was Parker's 6th year in the league (vs. 3rd for Kawhi), and Tony had already been named to two All-Star games. So, it was less of a breakout and more of a culmination of things already seen, plus the result of Cleveland having absolutely no one to guard TP.

there's already some slight backlash/pullback surrounding him

by the time the next season starts people will forget about us again dont worry
