If you have to share 100% into 6 or less teams that can win the championship in the upcoming season.
I say:
San Antonio 40% (Duncan's health during playoffs is the key)
Detroit 10% (They won't get better;can stay the same or get worse)
Miami 20% (Shaq's health and readiness during playoffs is the key)
Indiana 10% (i think they will be awsome this year)
Houston 15% (second best team in the west)
Dallas 5% (put their 5% to Suns if you want :) ;Dirk is awsome but that is not enough )
--------------
Yes you see right. I dont give any serious chances to the Suns, Cavs or any other "got better this offseason" team. Suns were destroyed by the Spurs and that showed that their run and gun ball play isnt playoff material. Departure of JJ will hurt them a a lot. (together with Richardson they were 3p machines with great %) That gave Nash and Studamire so much room to operate.
West best 2 teams this year (playoff best not whooping 999 regular season wins by the suns best): San Antonio and Houston
East best: Miami and Indiana

That's exactly what I'm saying. The West is deeper than the East, but as far as I'm concerned there is only one Championship contender at this point in the West.

Jim-dont post if you dont find it interesting; and anyways.... we all know that out of 8 top teams(or so) in the NBA all the other teams together have 1% of chance

You never know, something as simple as a sniper at the All Star game can easily turn the tide.

I'm surprised anyone would think Stromile Swift and Luther Head suddenly make a 5th seed team into a legitimate Championship threat.
