Yep...I tried to think of team in recent history who had their point guard as one of the focal points of the team and won the title. Heat, Lakers, Mavs (70 year old Kidd doesn't count) all NO. Rondo's Celtics and Billups' Pistons only won 1 each. You can even go back to the Bulls and the Rockets and still NO stellar point guard leading those teams. After that there's Isaiah Thomas' Pistons and then of course Magic. They are probably the closest, but damn that's almost 25 years ago.:dizzy:worthy:
