Andray Blatche turned down his player option for Brooklyn next season. I know Diaw and Mills are top priorities, but do you think Blatche is a solid replacement in case Bonner and Baynes walk?

He must be looking for better offer. Not sure if we're willing to pay him that much.

I think he is looking for reasonable playing time. He won't get it in SA.

Why let GOAT center Baynes walk out?

We need Banes as counter measure for future HOF Steven Adams.

Is he the guy that tried to purposely miss a shot off the backboard to get the rebound he needed for a triple double? Doesn't sound like a Spur to me.

Blatche has done much in two seasons with the Nets to improve his reputation around the NBA and his skill set would fit nicely into that 4th big role.

I don't think that's what he's looking for.

He was a knucklehead in DC looking for his numbers but I haven't seen him with Brooklyn much so don't know if he's cleaned up his act. I believe he was also caught soliciting a prostitute and was the brains behind stripper Tuesday parties. Don't see him in San Antonio.

Oh, sorry. I must've gotten them mixed up.. I remembered a few years back, when McGee got his triple double, he did something stupid to get that. I was thinking about that lol thanks for correcting me mate! :toast

He's too slow for the Spurs.

Tremendous offensive big. He was worth it two summers ago. He was worth it last summer. He's worth it now. I wouldn't give him crazy numbers, but I'd definitely go into 2015 cap space for him.

...with zero chance of him being signed at any figure. He may have cleaned up his overt dumbfuckery, but his BBIQ hasn't improved a bit.

As would I.
He is certainly more viable than those outside speculations of either Love or James.
I did not say better, I said viable.
But only if, a big if, he is not the knucklehead he has been in the past.

Such a SELFISH player. If he tried that crap in a Spurs uniform, I couldn't even begin to fathom the fire and brimstone that would unleash from Pop's mouth.

I don't ever see him getting the chance. Spurs know what he is.

Blatche is quite versatile, you can do a lot worse than him as a 4th big that's for sure.

He may be more of a thunderef candidate. He's about the exact opposite of perkins. the okc fan base are bitching about perk's inability to score so it would make absolutely no sense for them to pick up blatche, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it. I can't imagine how pissed westbrook would be is he had a center wanting shots.

Incredible that at one point, Andray Blatche, Javale McGee and Nick Young were on the Wiz. Funny how after they were moved, that miserable franchise started turning it around.
