Making room for Melo. Is Boozer still under contract or did he come off the books?

Could the Bulls kill two birds with one stone and trade Boozer plus the picks to a team with cap space? A team that does that would basically be punting on 2014-2015 (both free agency and the regular season) and rolling their cap space over for a year.

Detroit if Greg Monroe leaves, Milwaukee, Orlando, Philly, and Utah (oh wait, nevermind) fit those criteria.

Edit: Utah would do it if they could buy Boozer out immediately. He'd still clog up their cap for one year as a final middle finger to the franchise, but the the two firsts are the point of the deal. Utah also has shown a willingness to do this kind of deal (Biedrins + Richard Jefferson + #7 pick for nothing trade with the Warriors).

That will be done if Love deal falls apart. Create cap space for Mello signing
