View Full Version : Nets: optimistic KG will return

The Brooklyn Nets are optimistic that Kevin Garnett will want to play for one more season.
Garnett has one season remaining on his current contract at $12 million.
Garnett has been quiet since the Nets were eliminated in the playoffs.
The odds of Paul Pierce re-signing with the Nets surely would be bolstered by Garnett's return.

:lmao another 6 and 6 season for the old fake tough guy?

:lol his only value comes as an expiring contract, but he has a no trade clause. i'd be begging him to retire tbh

He's just playing for the money, obviously..even with as much money as he has made, walking away from 12 million would be foolish, tbh:lol..

Damn, he really did put up 6 and 6. I mean fucking Matt Bonner put up 8 and 5 as a starter in 2009. :lol

Problem is there is but one bag. That's what I invented. I didn't invent 2, 3, 4, on & on. 1, just the 1. That way it's special, means something, will be remembered long after I go into the dust that is always the end.

but he has a no trade clause.

Nah. He waived that for the trade to Brooklyn. Once it's waived, it doesn't come back. It was a good decision on his part, though, since he used it to get his $12 Million fully guaranteed. But indeed, nothing is stopping the Nets from dealing KG.

He would never leave that money. No one's going to sign him for more than 3 mil. :lol

KG has a ring so he surely takes $ over rings at this moment imho. The nets know that so even though they genuinely want to get rid of the TOSB KG, they're saying the opposite because that's exactly what's going to happen.

And that 1 has been carefully assigned to Kobe and he has no intention to pass it on.

You can "Fixed it" till the cows come home. You got The Bag until at least next June. You knew the rules, you knew the protocol. I was plain spoken on numerous occasions.

Let us proceed...

But indeed, nothing is stopping the Nets from dealing KG.

Nothing but 29 teams refusing to take a phone call from Brooklyn.

We'll deal him for Ayers. He's not allowed to play though. He shines Tim's shoes...nothing more.

If the Spurs win it all, he can have a ring. But only if Duncan permits.
