If the Raptors ever win the title, do they still go to the White House? :lol

But Pop's a democrat, so that's a wash.

This would be one of the many perks of the Presidency that I would abuse. NBA champs come to visit - we're playing a pickup game.

C'mon. Three decades down the road Obama's not going to remember giving this speech or signing that law, but taking an hour out of your day to run the P'n'R with Tim Duncan? Toss a few alley-oops to Leonard? Take the red phone off the hook, we're playing some ball.

With his ego? Not sure he would want to embarrass himself any further.

That will be cool to see Kawhi shake Obama's hand

He played with James, Wade, and Anthony at Ft. McNair a few years back.

Whatever you think of his politics (and this isn't the forum for that kinda noise) POTUS definitely loves him some basketball. If LeBron does somehow end up on the Bulls, that should become the #1 conspiracy theory.

You must be a young fan judging by the comments since you probably don't remember '99. Anyways the Spurs went to the white house in the fall of '99 and guess who was the president back then it was Bill Clinton who happened to be a democrat. The Spurs will see Obama considering that Pop has donated money to his campaigns.

Knowing the President is a huge basketball fan, he must have been gushing at the remarkable team play of the Spurs. I wonder if the President and our Mayor, and future HUD Secretary, had a Spurs GTG for game 5.

Assuming he doesn't have to spend his whole trip to Washington in meetings with Director Brennan. Nobody ever really leaves the Company.
