View Full Version : Lakers: Predict God's 2014-2015 season

I have decided to create this thread since a lot of you guys think that God is finished and done. This is a thread you can bump next summer after what I say comes true. I expect God to have an MVP type of season since he wants to prove to people he still has it. God will average 30 points a game, 50 percent shooting, along with 5 assists, 5 rebounds. Lakers will go all the way and win it all. State your predictions in this thread and we'll see who is right.

If he's healthy and if his minutes are managed properly:

19-22 points per game
30-35 minutes per game
40-45% FG%

God will never get schooled by Kawhi because he is a much better player than the Great Satan. If God gets schooled by Kawhi then I will never post again on this forum.

:lol 0 blocks in 107 minutes
:lol 1 steal in 107 minutes
:lol outrebounded by Kawhi with 25% more minutes

& then that moment in the Finals when it was mentioned that Duncan had not spoken to Parker during his rookie year. Mark Jackson was ready,,,not verbatim:::"why was it okay for Duncan not to speak to Parker, but, it wasn't for Kobe to not speak to Smush Parker?" It was like somebody died. LMAO!!!

Well, Breen had the answer, not verbatim:::"Media treats Kobe different than they do Duncan. It's the way it was from the start." Van Gundy? He wanted to talk about soccer.

Uh, uh. Jackson nailed it, right between the eyes. I'm just shocked he still had a seat thereafter.

You're stuck, in purgatory, forever comparing Kobe to yet another player he will never stack up to. The 2014 Finals sealed your fate.

You build a rep, you live with it. That's the way it worked with Wilt, that's the way it worked with Malone, and that's the way it goes for Kobe. The shackles don't fall off - you gotta shake 'em. And Kobe ain't been about dat lyfe, especially not after 48. So you let me know when he doesn't go for the throat on payday, and then we can have a talk about his media treatment. You pretending Kobe wasn't a media darling before Eagle though, and that's just dishonest.

It was just nice to have a Media member speak from the brain instead of the teleprompter. & it came out of left field. I grabbed the remote and rewound it immediately. it was like an out of body experience. I asked Girl to pinch me, but, she said "No, I'm not in the mood, Dale."

accept that duty for at least another 51 weeks, resign yourself to that fate. Your only hope for positional relief is if TOSB Kobe can make it 6>5.... Sorry to say, it does not look promising for you. You are the Kaite girl of Spurstalk now. Come to Pappy.

The team is terrible. They have no scoring. Which is exactly how Kobe wants it. There's no way he averages below 20-23 PPG. He'll put up 30 shots a game if he has to.

24 PPG 40% shooting, 31% 3PT

Hell, Media has said nary an unkind word about Kirby post-Eagle either.... they keep perpetuating the narrative that a 23% shooter in late-game situations is "clutch."

I'm not sure you want a media member speaking from their brain. It doesn't add much to the conversation. :lol You're just a contrarian and you got all nice and frothy from the gainsaying. It don't mean diddly in the grand scheme of things. Kind of odd that you would suggest a 2 guard, who's in LA, who has tried to be Mike his entire career would be poleaxed by the media through no fault of his own. Come on now, that just ain't right. They did everything short of worshiping him, but he just couldn't let go of the throat.

You're correct, there was dead silence immediately thereafter. Breen defended it curtly---Van Gundy moved it to soccer. And that was it. But, it's on the record, & I ain't the one to let it go.
