Kwame is not a Duncan. Is he?

His last name is Brown, I suppose.

The point is that predicting career arcs of college players is ridiculous and often incredibly wrong.

Alittle too premature don't you think?

Nothing against Jabari but call me when he has 4 titles and a finals MVP.

He got eliminated in the first game of the tournament. To be honest, I'm not sure his game will translate. He's not a knock down shooter or an exceptional athlete. He's got good skills, but I don't think he can guard NBA players.

Well, the other Anthony Parker (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/parkean01.html) is unlikely to surpass him at this point...

Just watched that scouting video. Mother of God that defense is absolutely abysmal. He wouldn't see the floor for San Antonio.

Guess someone didn't get the memo that Jabari Parker just sucked in his Cavs workout, and he showed up like 15 pounds heavier than he was in college.

Also.... MERCER!

Sadly Grant Hill was very good until his injuries but you are correct. Elton Brand was good a few years as well, other than that they suck. I hate Duke as well lol.

Still remember Shelden Williams was supposedly the Williams who was gonna lead the hawks out of mediocrity. Look how that turned out lol. But at least J.J Redick's got a nice career.

Jabari will never win a championship let alone 5 and he will never earn a finals MVP.

I wish we'd see a workout of Jabari Parker in SA guarded by Kawhi (or even Bowen), to see if he can really score from anywhere on the floor...

Jabari is a prospect. Someone creating a thread comparing Jabari to Tony invites criticism bc there's little evidence he'll have that great of a career until he steps on the court to prove it. That said, I'm a Jabari fan as a person and I hope he does well in the league and meets his potential.

To be fair to Duke, Kyrie has been pretty good, though he barely played for Duke and is classic good player on a bad team.

he can't drive left consistently and finish with his left hand. right before duke played my school ECU last season, i talked with a few of the players about that and the coach had already discussed it. we were down by only a point with 3 minutes to go until the whistles started. the ncaa could not have an unranked non popular school like ECU beat duke in cameron stadium at the beginning of the season. he's another duke player that benefited from acc officials.

The NBA is where most Duke players to fade out.
