I had convinced myself to never watch 2013 Finals Game 6 again... Now, it's a part of the redemption story and will likely be a key piece of the 2014 Blu-Ray feature...

Good stuff. It's almost too storybook to be true.

LOL at the RJ Alley-Oop play at 16:06.

finally watched this video. being a couple weeks removed it is amazing going back and watching some of those plays. Even just experiencing the playoff run I did not realize how high of a level they were executing the game of basketball. Truly awesome run.

Yeah, no shit...I hope the Championship DVD/Blu-ray is as good as that.

Miami had NO shot to win this series. None. Spurs refused to be denied this year.

I'm glad we didn't sweep them. We got to celebrate the championship in front of the home crowd. Nothing sweeter in sports. :hat

They did have a shot imo. They blew their wad physically and emotionally trying to comeback in game 3. You could tell by the body language that they had no answers on how to stop the Spurs offense.

Game 4 was just a continuation of game 3 but with more sustained execution through four quarters.

Way more fun to see that celebration at home!

I disagree.

The only reason Game 1 was in question late in the 4th quarter and the Spurs lost Game 2 was because Kawhi had not played his game. Once he brushed off the jitters or whatever was causing him to play so passive, it was all but done. The Spurs were more focused, determined, cohesive and unselfish than Miami. It should have and would have been a clean sweep had Lebron James not played out of his mind in Game 2.

The Heat were good but they were also a very tired and untested team. The Spurs were playing at a different speed and beat Miami in just about every statistical category. It was their year.
