Johnny Manziel on the road vs the Steelers?

Packers in Seahawk country, do they have bad memories or what?

Colts in Broncoville on a Sunday night?

The Niners with that offense in Cowboy country with that defense?

The Raiders on the east coast vs the Jets? Raiders are 1-9 in week one in the last 10 years. They are 0-6 in New York state the last 10 years.

What team hasn't lost in week one for over 10 years? Try....the Pats!

What team has only won once in week one in the last 10 years.....the Browns!

Colts would have probably been a solid lock to beat Denver on opening Sunday night until Robert Mathis got suspended for taking drugs to help him be a dad. Still, Andrew Luck is going to have 10x the weapons he ended last season with in that game. Reggie Wayne back from the knee injury. Hakeem Nicks the free agent acquisition. Donte Moncrief, the big exciting rookie from Mississippi, upcoming 2014 Pro-Bowler T.Y. Hilton, and the dynamic tight end Dwayne Allen returning from injury. Fleener won't be a starter with Allen back, but he showed better hands and toughness last year than he did in Year 1. If Luck gets moderately good protection from the line, he is totally poised to go pass-for-pass with Manning. Could be a shootout decided by a field goal.

Please note that my exclusion of the Colts running game as a "weapon" was by design. I fully expect Trent Richardson to continue sucking until I am given evidence to believe otherwise. Would not be surprised if he doesn't even win the job in camp.

Saints have a tough road opener at Atlanta. I hate having the first 2 on the road this year. Early in the season, every team has hope that they can win and make the playoffs; no tanking, no half-assed effort, etc.

If they get the running game going early and often, that will silence that crowd quickly. Falcons have no defense but a loud crowd will help. Running the ball will quiet them. The Saints o-line will be much better this season.

Denver is 9-1 in home openers the last 10 years. I have a hard time seeing a team with a suspect running game making it 2-9. Don't get me wrong the Colts will have a great season a 12-4/13-3 a very real possibility. Just not in this "spot'.

What's the status of Ahmad Bradshaw? Ballard will be back and speedy Chris Rainey needs to be used ...right! Why they let a guiy who averaged over 5 yards a carry go...???

What logic, how about the facts? And all this info....Marc Lawrence PLAYBOOK...a gamblers guide.

Raiders on the road.

2013...1-7
2012...1-7

That's under Dennis Allen. The worst team in the league on the road, 2-14 the last two seasons. The teams they beat Houston last season and Kansas City the year before.

I know every betting angle/stat/trend there is in existance, that's what I know.

There is only one "spot" where the Raiders shine, that would be vs SD in SD. There there are 7-3 and 4-1 vs the number. There is no other situation where they would even thought of as a good beat. Last three seasons...7-10-1 in the Div vs the number.

No, it means as long as Belichick/Brady and the rest of that coaching staff stay intact and Miami has Joe Philpin/Ryan Tannehill and that coaching staff stays intact, there is no reason to see any dramatic changes.

Dolphins have scored 57 with the Pats scoring 88 in that "spot" I mentioned. So the average game has been Mia 19 NE 29. You see any reason that should be different this time around?

Me and my son saw a fish in Blake, so we jacked around with the idiot. We had fun with the dummy.

Dude, just turn on.. The Herd... every Friday during the football season, you will get five plays the Vegas wise guys will be playing, they hit over 65% last season, now think....I just ignore those plays?

In this gambling guide I mentioned they have a ton of "historicallly" strong plays. I just ignore all that? You have any idea how many sites out there are hitting over 60%. I just ignore all that?

I pick out that weeks five strongest ATS (homework) plays. A play where one team has a multitude of reasons to play them. Then I go looking for agreement.

Now think...

Settle is 26-11 the last two seasons vsw the number. The Niners are 22-16. If you had just played them every week...48-27. See any reason to get off them in 2014?

When are you going to realize that no one on this site knows you and we can only go off what you post on here. When you post a bunch of picks and then use an excuse AFTER those picks are unsuccessful it makes you look like a liar. It also makes you look extremely childish, which is sorta ironic considering you're always complaining about "kids hiding behind computers".

I look for real football talk, when we see obvious idiots lie this Blake guy acting stupid I mess with them. I have no respect for posters like that at all. I want to talk about the game they want to bother people so I simply mess with them, that isn't obvious?

I've been betting the NFL for over 40 years, I have everything a gambler needs to be a success at it. Let's take week two for an example....Chicago is 0-8 vs the Number at Niners. Why should this change? I have tons and tons of those types of strong plays.

If we can get a "Pick Um" contest going here I 'll finally make some real plays.

No, it's not obvious. It seems far more likely to everyone here that you make poor picks and then blame it on someone else. That's what is obvious...and it's amazing that you still don't get that.

Miami beat New England last year in Miami. They were also up 17-3 at the half in NE before remembering they don't usually win 10 games a year and they lost by 10.

It isn't an impossible feat to beat NE even if their opening record as of late has been good.

The Dolphins are 1-3 with Philpin in charge vs the Pats. Now add that 10-0 trend about week one. So you will be bucking a 13-1 trend, that's not good. Now add a 9-1 trend with the Pats vs the division in that first division game. Now you are bucking a 22-2 trend.

Not really. Bradshaw's a lock to get hurt again. If Ballard can do what Donald Brown did last year, then it might be okay, but the Colts are at a disadvantage any time they put Two Yard Trent on the field because no defense respects him right now.

Now if Trent blows my mind and actually produces this year then fine. But going on last year, I still hate the trade and don't expect much improvement.

IF there was a pattern of them being hurt every season it would be kind of like your "spots" but there isn't enough of a pattern for Bradshaw.
