Seems like a decent candidate for that last second round pick. I'm sure MannyIsGod can give us the skinny on him.

"Bairstow connected at an incredible 63.8% from shots between 17 feet and the 3-point line during his senior season, yielding a 1.277 points per possession that ranked as the most efficient in college basketball among players with at least 40 attempts." -DraftExpress

I still want Khem Birch for his Defense... but Cameron seems like a good Offensive option for the last pick in the draft

I think he's going to be a poor man's Luis Scola. He's got a hell of an offensive skillset going out to about 17-18 feet and has a very consistent jumper. Up until his senior season he played mainly below the rim and I never thought he'd make it in the NBA. Last year he changed that, however.

He's a workout nut and has incredible strength. He was a pretty good passer as well. At this point I would be surprised if he doesn't make an NBA roster regardless of being drafted. Quite frankly I think he'd be a fantastic pickup for the Spurs in the 2nd. He's an amazing locker room guy and he's not going to make any waves with his behavior or off the court issue. The kid just wants to play basketball and hit the gym.

If anyone has links with him being in the Spurs sights then I'd love to read them. He was phenomenal for my Lobos last year.

Oh I guess he worked out for the Spurs recently. He's definitely the type of player the Spurs love to have. He's a hard worker and he's got some offensive skills that they might be able to use. If he was a bit more athletic I think he's be a first rounder or if he had been more consistent early in his career but as it is he just had an amazing final two seasons. His junior year was very good too but it was overshadowed by the contributions made by Tony Snell who's now with the Bulls.

again, another Boomers/AIS product, so would come in having some knowledge of the spurs system already.

Has played with Patty and Baynes in the last 2 years. Cavs and Bulls are also high on him but everyone at the AIS wants him to land with the Spurs.

It just occurred to me if we got this guy and kept Baynes, they would both end up 300 pounds of muscle by new season tip off. Both love the gym and would be uber competitive with one another

The more I look into this guy, the bigger fan I become of him. In a good system, this dude could be a keeper.

Yeah, I think he'd be reasonable for one of those second rounders

The kind of player the Bulls used to love having back in the Jordan-Pippen days. Some big trunk of a guy who can hit endless mid-range jumpers. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Knicks take him.

I wonder how much the Tony Snell and Luc Longley connections helped. I'm pretty sure Luc was singing Cam's praises recently.
