Its Broussard so that's your source but interesting nonetheless

In a radio appearance, Chris Broussard reported that the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks could agree upon a sign-and-trade of Carmelo Anthony for James Harden.

The Rockets could then sign LeBron James with their cap space to create a Big 3 with Anthony and Dwight Howard.

James and Anthony have reported interest in playing together.

It's called unloading Lin and Asik plus some other scrubs. Doubt it happens but you still gotta try when you have a chance to get the best player in the game.

Asik is value, lin you would have to package a pick plus cash at the bare minimum

So all they have do is:

1. Make Lin's contract disappear.

2. Make Asik's contract disappear.

3. Get Melo to sign for less than the max. (on a team that pays Howard the max)

4. Get James to sign for less than the max. (on a team that pays Howard the max)

That's quite a parlay right there.

No one's saying that shit will happen. Every team is trying to what they can to land James and rightfully so.

It's the same thing every summer with the Rox, chasing their white whale. Meanwhile, they've won one playoff series in 17 years. Maybe it's time for a different approach.

Melo and LeBron would be devastating on the offensive end wherever they go. both are basically small-ball 4's who can hit the 3 but also abuse any smaller defender down low. the spurs for instance would have to put diaw on one and leonard on the other.

Maybe by 2015 y'all can fire McHale and then by 2016 move out of that humid shithole.

60%+ TS% isn't chucking.

Harden is definitely not a chucker.

:lol how does TS% determine whether a player is a chucker or not?

:lol how does TS% determine whether a player is a chucker or not?

The normal definition of a chucker is not just someone who shoots a lot, but who also takes too many low percentage shots. Harden might be too reliant on free throws (note the use of TS% and not eFG%) and is a horrible defender, but he doesn't fit that definition of chucker.

Iverson was the quintessential chucker while LeBron isn't despite taking a lot of shots.

But, they'd be better off with him than Anthony. I believe Harden would be open to having James mentor him. Same thing with Howard. Howard wouldn't let Kobe, but, he'd most likely permit James. And it's another reason why if I were Houston I'd hang on to Lin. He'd flourish under James. At first blush it's the most appetizing destination for James.

There is still time to turn Harden, even Howard if they hurry. It's much too late for Anthony.

I'd rather have a trio of Harden, James, and Howard rather than Anthony if that were a financial possibility. It's a moot point anyway, Houston can try all they like, James ain't going west.

What the fuck do you expect? McHale told Howard exactly what Dwight wouldn't let Kobe tell him. Howard don't know shit about what it takes to compete for an NBA Title. He still doesn't. He wouldn't listen to Kobe, and he only pretended to listen to McHale.

i hate that guy bit the truth is he was the 2nd best player in that series after LMA in a series that included Harden, Parsons and Lillard who are supposed to be better offensive players.
