Aggressive but no max contracts. DWill and Howard shit on his Mavs when he swung for the fences last time and now he's doing it again but knows the Mavs are a joke like the Lakers and wont land a big time free agent.

True, but, a year prior they were topsy, you were turvy.

Anything is possible. You guys were ready to do the dutch after 6:::You stipulated to Duncan's homosexuality, you threw Manure onto the compost pile, you made fun of Pop, you wanted to commit an intentional killing concerning Diaw and Kori went on a binge & gained 25 lbs.

I would be satisfied only if we can get Deng tbh, for 10m/yr hopefully. Melo who plays mediocre defense ain't guaranteed to generate better outcomes than Deng. We already have two elite scores in the starting 5 (Dirk and Ellis) who're most efficient when they have the ball in their hands, so I don't think we would be better off if we got a 3rd one. Meanwhile Deng would be a significant upgrade over even the 11' Marion, solid defender plus competent scoring ability. Plus, by not signing a max player we'd have more cap space to sign some decent role players, rather than fill up the squad with minimums.

My Mavs took your team to the brink. Shit, they were the only team to do it this year and if they had won game 7, 6 would have been the lasting image of the Spurs' Duncan run.

I'm not sure if you some of you would admit it, but I'm sure some of you would have stopped watching the NBA and your Spurs for a while if my Mavs had won game 7 this year. I can admit that if my Mavs had walked away ringless in 2011 that I probably would have stopped watching the NBA possibly forever.

Problem is for 6 games it was close, that seventh game was like game 7 of the Rockets-Mavs series in 05 except the Mavs were the Rockets, the series was never in doubt. Good luck next year

You just sayin' that cause yo team won. But I bet you were nervous as hell after game 6. You can act all big and tough but you were scared that your team was going to blow back to back 3-2 series leads which would have been awesome in my opinion and probably the biggest back to choke choke jobs in the history of the NBA. And no, you can't say the Mavs in 2006 and 2007 because the Mavs only won 2 in 2006 and it's universally known that the Warriors owned the Mavs in the first round in 2007.

Up 2-0 in the series and up to 13 going into the 4th quarter of Game 3. Then follow that up by winning 67 games only to lose to the 8th seeded Warriors. Yeah, noone will ever top that tbh.

I recall an entire fanbase upstairs a year & a fortnight from this evening forsaking Pop, Manu, Duncan, the whole gang. Your matriarch locked the door up there and thru the ceiling we down here heard the wails & epitaphs that seared the soul.

Agreed,,,but hindsight is 20/20. Fact remains,,,they tried for him and failed just like Cuban knows now they will fail again if they go for a top tier free agent. They have to settle for the past their prime Vince Carter and 2nd tier Monta Ellis' and OJ Mayo's of the NBA world. Stephenson, Monroe, Gasol, ect.,,,,will be their best shot this off season.

You Spurs fans for the most have been spoiled and have developed a small sense of arrogance and entitlement during the Duncan era. Not as annoying as Lakers, Cowboys, and Yankees fans yet. You can talk shit all you want but at the end of the day, you Spurs fans didn't experience the 2006 Finals. And don't say 6 because you still had 4 championships after that loss. My Mavs had the trophy taken from them by a corrupt NBA boss that wanted Wade to be the next Jordan. Mavs fans had to wait 5 years for redemption. Sorry but you haven't suffered as fans. Maybe you will once Duncan retires.
