Wiz talking to Sefolosha worries that Ariza will leave. Would love Rza back in Lakerland but last time his agent was an ass. I think he may have switched representation but he may want more than I would pay. Really need a SF who can defend.
I believe the offer is more than fair. If he doesn't want to build off what they're trying to accomplish in Indy and feels he has a better chance somewhere else, he clearly wants the money. Lance Stephenson could a wonderful piece for a contending team that is able to endure his childish antics.

@dpg, i didn't see his post about the contract being fair. disagree with that and totally agree with everything else.
From what I've read, Kyle Lowry is officialy out of the Miami running.

BNSF should be nervous as fuck. Just lost Patty for 7 months. Given what Jodie got, expect DG to hold out for a new $12M contract after pushing D-Whistle shit in, resulting in a rang. Sp*rs = f:lolcked
We just resigned patty for 12/3. And how can we be fucked when we just won the 'ship? Idiot :downspin:

Pessimism among some of Melo's suitors, I'm told, is undoubtedly rising about having any hope of getting Melo away from Knicks

You can see where this is headed. Knicks are surely hoping they get a verbal commitment from Melo to re-sign TONIGHT in their meeting in LA

Nevertheless, Bryant and Anthony have been in consistent contact this summer. They'll likely talk again before Anthony makes decision.

Kobe Bryant has lost hope on making it to Lakers-Anthony meeting today, source tells Yahoo. He's traveling, meeting time had been moved up.

Now they have to settle and build up this barrel of shit.

This lends more credence to my "Crawford + pieces for Ariza" theory from earlier:

The only reason we would even want yet another shooting guard is if Jamal's gone, tbh....

true... i'm not sure i agree with that direction though. Crawford has been perfect for them. but they just keep stockpiling 2-guards, so something's gotta give

I disagree that Jamal has been "perfect" for us, tbh.... Doc clearly wants to emulate the Spurs, hence his choice to install the motion offense last year and why he's started to value floor spacing and passing above everything else in his signings.... Jamal's iso-chucking and lack of any other skills when his shot isn't falling doesn't fit with the direction the Clippers are going in - that was clear as day during the OKC series when the starters would move the ball at will for long stretches until Jamal checked in and completely destroyed the offense....
We also haven't had a legitimate starting small forward since Maggette left and we have very little cap space, so we would need to do a sign-and-trade to get anyone decent....

I don't think Bird does. Might be reading too much into it, but Bird's offer seems to be purposely "low" (although in reality it's really fair) as a means to drive him to go elsewhere. The fact it's a take it or leave it offer as well signals his true intentions.
Looks like Bird was being overly generous with his 44M offer to Lance. Not only did the dummy cost himself money with his antics, he even cost himself during free agency as well.
