How's that. The injury takes 6 month's to heal. Then he has to get back into game shape. He could play, but Sixers are tanking again next year and will be a top 5 lottery team next year if not the #1 pick.

At least he's not being paid only $2 million less than Tim+Manu+Tony+Kawhi+Larry though.

76ers are idiots. Why did they pick up Embiid when they have Noel? They tanked last year for no reason..

2012 = Babysitting Bynum after trading for him
2013 = Babysitting Noel after drafting him
2014 = Babysitting Embiid after drafting him

Shit, might as well sit Noel and Carter-Williams too. Make sure they get another top 3 pick next year.

Not news, he wasn't going to play. Just waiting for Nerlens to go down this year too with a bad foot, ankle or knee.

Blake Griffin missed rookie season. Turned out fine.

Major injury does not always mean bust.

Wow, that's horrible. Oden 2.0.

I heard he has poor work ethic as well.

Probably won't play a full season in the NBA.

Embiid also had back issues in high school and college.

I was hoping he would work out for the Sixers. The east is devoid of talent they need some good teams out there to make things interesting.

Man that sucks. Admittedly, I wanted him over Randle. The Lakers are not out of the woods with Randle - although I'm hearing he's 100% now and ready to go. Hopefully Embiid is allowed to sit out until he is 100% and his career is not derailed Grant Hill or Penny style.
