I can't believe Meeks got more than Shaun Livingston :wow. Either way, SL got 3 years, at full MLE level amount.

If Livingston sets the market, then they will resign him at 5 per IMO.

Bad that GS got better, good that they set the market.

Dumars Jr. will be looking to offload Meeks next season after a failure of production

Patty stigma is his height Meekus is like 6ī4Ļ so thats one difference, and maybe Jolie played more minutes for the Lakers in RS so Detroit has a better idea to what to do with him also there is a possibility that they think about Patty as a Spur system player so they are not sure if it could work in Detoillete.

Meeks is 6'4" and avg nearly 16 ppg last year. That is probably why. Most teams don't have a playmaker like Manu or Diaw coming off their bench or even in their starting lineups. Meeks is a guy that has shown he can create his own shot to a certain extent. But buyers should always beware when buying players with padded stats on a sorry team.

Too high. Patty will get paid despite the shoulder injury.

You can look at it in two ways: Livingston is a plus and now it gives them flexibility for a potential Love trade.

On the other hand, they're hard capped and can only offer the minimum salary guys now. In a way, the MLE should by definition help each team incrementally improve. But they've used it while other teams haven't.
