Absolutely every Spurs fan, with no exceptions, wants this to happen.

Fine: Absolutely every Spurs fan, with no exceptions, desperately wants this to happen. Assuming we can't get Richard Jefferson to take us back.

Anonymous source, aka his agent, dropping Spurs name to create interest. No way in hell this no-defense playing faggot ends up on the Spurs. I hope this is "marquee" piece the Heat add this offseason.

Heat need more scoring guards than anything, but he'd play more there than here.

I don't think we want to get lucky in this case. We don't need expensive, old, scoring SFs who are average at best defensively. I bet he goes to Miami, as that's where he started and became a star.

Caron Butler hasn't been a star since his days at uconn.

I was looking at the date of this thread to make sure it wasn't from 2010. WTF? We have plenty of good character guys on our team which I assume is the interest in bringing him here. He has no value on the court anymore. The game has passed him by and he's slow, can't defend and needs to be friggin wide open to have a chance at making a 3 ptr. He wishes he had Vince Carter's game at this point.

Carry on please. Find someone that can take the ball to the hoop and earn FT's.

I'd rather have Kyle Anderson as the backup SF than him.

Butler had his chance, like Grant Hill, J. Kidd, Battier, and others before him.

And like them, he blew it.

It's too late now.:lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2:

I don't want the lazy-eyed piece of shit, either but let's not go overboard with the hyperbole here. The only other person who can compare to Ayres' suckitude is Bonner.

We can do without his services. At this point in his career he does not have much to offer, especially on the defensive end. We already have plenty of veteran leadership. The only person that we are interested in that I would like to see on the team is Josh McRoberts. I would love Pau, but that's not happening. Assuming Diaw comes back, we are only going to have one spot after we sign Anderson. We should probably just sign somebody from the summer camp and save our $$ for next year. We are going to have a ton of cap space.

Umm, you might not want to put Battier in there. He ended up with two rings. That's more than the Spurs have in the same time span. You're not supposed to list players that ended up with multiple rings.

We are totally lucky. "the Spurs have shown interest" is universal for "he's signing with someone else" Shit, we must have a leprechaun's balls or something.

I don't like Caron Butler...his 3 point sign that he does is childish, and other than shooting 3's, he has nothing left in the tank.

I clicked on that video, completely ready to agree with you that he's a douchebag, but frankly I didn't see anything that makes me think that. He's being a pretty good teammate.

Who was him to tell Adams not to talk when HOF wasn't even talking tbh. All he says are bs.

Again, how can he list Battier as one of the ones that blew it? Battier ended up with two championships in the same time span.

Lucky? What a strange way to describe possibly ending up with a shitty player.
