I was cleaning it out cause we're gonna have a little bbq tonight and then have another one tomorrow. Hadn't used it in months. Just giving a heads up to everyone living in South Texas. Be careful and have a good one. :toast

In case anyone is wondering what I did, I lit the pit on fire and watched them burn. lol :ihit

Coastal Bend or deep in the brushlands? Wouldn't the chances be smaller for that situation to occur if it was in a urban setting? Just out of curiosity.

My pit was being inhabited by a bunch of wasps about a month ago. Gotta keep the pit active now that it's summer.

Chances of finding Black Widows are very high in urban areas. Chicago and Detroit come to mind. Although they might often just be Black Hoes Whose Baby Daddy Got Shot.

He had a tarp over it and threw a couple of those bug grenades under it and heard like fucking thunder and shit. lol The aftermath was crazy. A huge pile of bees.

widows are more woodlands and recluses are more urban iirc

If that happened to me is have to burn the entire house to the ground and move several states away.

Black widows are pretty common in southern california.
