Even though his dad was a high jumper, I doubted the truth of the vertec story until I saw this clip. Holy smokes.

Beethoven....that was that movie about a dog, right?

Must've been a smart dog to write music...especially in Eb, tricky key.

Boris must be one of a kind, like that music-composing dog Beethoven.

That's my take away.

I miss Bill Walton on national broadcasts.
Me too, some find him over-the-top but that's precisely why I like him.

:lmao

He's just so high.

He could barely complete his sentence.

My favorite part is when Walton starts "it was 201 years ago today..." and in his pause you can barely hear the other guy saying "oh Jesus" and Walton's just like "yeah(I'm doing this)"

What I want to know is was it really 201 years ago to the day? Did Walton know that offhand?

Me too, some find him over-the-top but that's precisely why I like him.
I miss him and everyone else from NBC for that matter. I'll take an over-the-top genuinely enthusiastic color commentator over an over-the-top cynical douche every time.

If he stayed healthy, he'd most likely be in the conversation for best center of all time. That guy could do absolutely everything.
