They extended the qualifying offer to Baynes. There hasn't been any other news.

One only has to look to your take on Ayers, this forums biggest Ayers supporter is you, to understand your acumen in seeing big man talent.

You're funny. I was basically playing Devil's advocate to you and the rest of the Ayers haters. Consider your chain yanked.

I don't hate Ayers. I just thought he did not have the skills one would want in an NBA rotation player.

You said a whole bunch of things that made you look and sound like a clueless buffoon. You sure trolled me hard. . .

So he's a bigger priority than Diaw? Fascinating.

No other team is going to offer Bayne shit. He was playing in Eastern Europe 18 months ago, any team could have had him. Since then he's played like 20 meaningful minutes. The QO should be enough to get him back in silver & black.

Don't see anyone going after Baynes, if the Spurs want him, they can have him, for whatever price they like most likely.

On the other hand, Ayers is shit.

He's no ones plan B. Not even the team that has him.

I think Baynes is definitely better than Ayres. I'm pretty sure that I recall one his teammates or coaches during the season saying that he makes all his shots in scrimmage/practice, but he seems to rush them in games. He needs to settle down in the games and not rush his shots. I think he just needs court time to get comfortable playing at NBA speed.

Totally agree you can tell when he is playing that he is thinking to hard and not just playing.

mmm, how is that acting tough? There is no physical connotation whatsoever in my commentary.

You are just upset because you hopped on board that shitwagon yourself.

Baynes hitting that 3 in the finals (that was called as a 2) was the highlight of the playoffs for me. I hope they bring him back.
