Assuming all reports and rumors are true, all signs points to Lebron back in Cleveland

-his handlers has told Cavs to create some cap space for Lebron
-he texted his HS coach about his plans to come back and play for Cleveland
-Rizzo who has solid connections to Gilbert said Bron is leaning towards Cleveland
-Gilbert flew to South Beach and supposedly met with Lebron or at least his agent.
-supposedly told a Cav player to "Be prepared and get ready"

Bron has to realize the best Miami could get is a resigned Bosh, McRoberts and a couple of TOSB wings in Granger and Wade. With championship experience under his belt, he can become a hero again, serve as a mentor and lead a young group to a championship. As a basketball fan, I'd love to see Wiggins grow under Lebron. In 2 years they could be one of the most devastating perimeter defenders since MJ and Pip.

Good lord, I hope he isn't trolling the Cavs fan base who has suffered a great amount of pain since his departure. Hopefully, the Cavs fanatics realize none of these came from Lebron's mouth and everything is just speculation and rumors:lol at least this won't hurt as much as 2010, they have Wiggins to look forward to.

LeBron James to tell Pat Riley he's leaving

According to multiple sources close to LeBron James and one close to the Cleveland Cavaliers organization James is going to tell President, Pat Riley in their scheduled meeting Wednesday that he’s leaving.

“Tomorrow is the day. LeBron is telling Riley he’s leaving. Today he met with Nike to discuss a new marketing plan for his return.”

I think the same ... My guess is they put a Love Package together centered on Thompson, a pick and maybe Waiters. Calling it now. Lebron, Love Wiggins Kyrie and some scrub defensive big will be in the ECF at LEAST ...possible NBA finals. Would be tough to call them favorites, though.

Cowboys_Wear_Spurs

I believe Lebron's going back. Its not so much him as its his wife and him wanting to be a family man for his kids. When he went to Miami, he was still semi-single so to speak, always in the club and such.

Since then, so see next to none of James in the club acting like the clown he use to be. He seems to be always with his sons. And considering all his family and his son's cousins live up in Ohio, he probably wants them to grow up around them, not in South Beach.

Considering the Cavs at this point have more talent to offer Lebron at this point than the Heat, its a win win situation for Lebron at this point. Looks like Wade and Bosh opted out for nothing.

I hope this happens so that f'in Heat Index is taken off the ESPN website.

Never thought I'd root for James, but if he does go back to Cleveland, I'll admit , I'll root for him to succeed. 1 NBA title with the Cavs would trump 2 of his in Miami. Plus those Cavs games with Lebron were always so festive lol. The crowd were always amazing, which is the exact opposite in Miami.

seeing as they are 1-1 with spurs, its not really the spurs who did it, its the fact that they are 2-2 in the finals with the WC getting better and Heat getting worse over time.

It wasn't the fact that the Spurs beat them, it was the way they beat them. They took them to the woodshed. And seeing how competitive the West is, the Heat wouldn't have stood a chance against the top 4 teams it seems like it. OKC is the only elite team out West that they matchup well against.

I hear all this LeBron to Cleveland talk and I'll believe it when I see it. The Cavs organization and the moves they've made in the past four yeras don't inspire a lot of confidence. And Gilbert's letter certainly doesn't help either.

You compare that track record of surrounding LeBron with spares while he carries the team in the playoffs all by himself...to 4 straight Finals and 2 titles in Miami under Pat Riley and ask me who he has more confidence in. LeBron knows damn well under the current CBA that Miami can't add another star and make it a Big Four. People are acting like Miami was horrible this year or something, but they were the second-best team in the NBA and would have beaten any West team besides the Spurs with their three stars and no bench. And no, the corpse of Ray Allen doesn't count. Under the CBA, Miami has to follow the Spurs model of going 10-deep. Josh McRoberts was a very good pickup. He's a very good role player. That was a good signing. Granger is a no-risk gamble that could pay dividends.

My guess is LeBron resigns for the max in Miami on a 2-3 year deal and Bosh and Wade take longer deals that pay them on the back end. The Heat get enough flexibility from those two restructuring their deals that Riley can fill out the rest of the bench.

I was on the belief lebron would stay also.
Until so much time passed and key role playing FA's got signed, at this point there's really no signing that puts Miami over the spurs. He knows that.
hes skipping past the parts of unexpected early exits and aging pains when dealing with older players like wade and bosh. I think the family factor plays into Cleveland and the leadership factor too,IMO he wants to be like a Tim duncan now where he is the leader of a young team and mentors young budding stars like kyrie and I'm sure cavs will do what it takes to get kev love.

Findog
07-09-2014, 11:53 PM
It wouldn't totally shock me if he went back to the Cavs and I do bet he ends his career there. If he leaves, that's the only place he'll go...Wiggins will eventually be an All Star. Irving will look like one next to LeBron. They still have Varajeo, right? Bennett might still turn into something. There's the whole "redemption" narrative and the entire city sucking his dick in a way that the Miami fanbase would never do. LeBron probably is better served with a younger core tbh. But for all the reasons I listed in my first post, I do think he resigns with Miami.
