How would this core fare? Id say unstoppable in the East, and would have a punchers chance against any team from the West.

Not the first year imo. If they were going to make any noise it would be in year 2 after they build some chemistry.

The 2010 Cavs would be unstoppable in today's East tbh.

The Spurs win 4-1 again tbh.

Would all depend on their depth. Those three plus a 2011/2014 Miami Heat-esque supporting cast would be steamrolled in the Finals. If Miller, Allen, and a few other notable role players join as well, they'll be perennial title favorites.
Would like to know what Love looks like not stat padding on a shitty team and not in the joke that is the RS.

Love next to Lebron would be excellent more deadlier than bosh. Im not saying this team would be a juggernaut, but the east is so bad that such a team would be heavy facorites to win the conferenxe
Irving and LeBron are not enough... and the rest of their talent is shaky at best.

The 2014 East was the shittiest conference since the early 2000s East and the West in the 80s, there's no reason to believe any of the teams in that conference became any better during this off-season, so Lebron with the Cavs would easily win the East(lose to the Spurs, beat the Thunder and Rockets, toss-up against the Clippers)..

They'd be better off with Wiggins Lebron Love and role players. I'm actually pretty high on Love, but I don't think Irving is any better than Wade. Bosh and Love are near washes also imo.
I don't know who they could even get as a PG but Whoever, Wiggins, Bron, Love, Varajeo could stand up to anyone in the West.

Love and Irving are overrated chuckers and stat-padders who don't play a lick of defense.... it would be a repeat of this year's Finals with LeBron doing everything he can and the rest of the team being annihilated by who ever comes out of the West....

Far from unstoppable in the east unless you wildly overrate Love. They'd lose to Rose/Noah/Gasol in the ECF.

Rose is more done than Kobe, much less Wade.

If LeBron picks Cleveland and Saunders refuses to permit Love to go there they'll be mass suicide at ESPN HQ. I can't see Silver letting Flip do it.

lost in all of this is the fact that with chandler and possibly bosh going west, the difference between the east and west is going to get even bigger than last season

Maybe but I doubt it. Torn ACL might hamper him but he looked ok at the start of the year. I don't think the torn meniscus will have negative effects. Plus, the guy is 25. Not sure how old you are, but I remember how my body bounced back at 25 vs now.
Seems like two bad luck injuries to me, what makes you say otherwise?

Shut up. Just do the GOAT lists and the 48.5. But, don't do the EAST/WEST thing. I got a fuckin' headache hearin' you pea brains talking about it already.

Rose was worse than Kobe last year.

Rose was worse than Kobe last year.I meant his health, he didn't look washed up to me. He was playing like ass but I thought that was more rust. I could be wrong, we'll know next year, but I wouldn't write him off in the first two months of the season after playing 10 games in 2 years.

Depends on what they do when Verajao goes down for the year. Start love at C with TT at PF?

Lebron should go to the Cavs, tbh. A much more talented, young and rested core.

Would only be fitting to have the two most overhyped HS prospects in a decade (Wiggins and Muhammad) on the same shitty team :lol

Kyrie should be traded for Love.
Wiggins should be kept.
Length and athleticism. Wiggins - LeBron - Love

I'm calling it now, if this shit happens, Spurs will still take Lebron's ass to the woodshed if they meet in the Finals. Love and Irving are incredibly overrated, Irving especially. lol max money for a taller Isiah Thomas. Love is also an atrocious defensive player. The 2011 Heat were a much better team imo than this hypothetical team and they got their shut pushed in by Dallas. Niggas should know by now that just because a team has some big names on it doesn't mean jack shit

I still think Lebron is staying in miami. Which is the right decision anyways. but whatever it is he needs to hurry up and make his decision.

My guess is if Lebron signs with miami, it's a 3-yr max contract with an opt-out option after the second year. Gives him a max contract with some options so he's not deadlocked. If its with the Cavs, it's the 4-yr max.

Came in quite handy June before last. tee, hee.
They won't win in their first two years. That's for sure. Nobody even cares to mention Indiana because they quite simply don't want to win. Brooklyn may challenge them. Hell Toronto may challenge then, Love and Irving are not premiere defenders so this will be a worse team than the Miami Heat two years ago. Then...you look at their bench? ...Then you look at their coach? .....Then you realize they still won't be shit.
