Oh, and just in case Don Harris doesn't want to credit me .......

@DonHarris4 (https://twitter.com/DonHarris4) Just want to make sure when you get the info about Bonner and Baynes re-signing you recognize me as one who first reported it

Boom, TWoj bombed him.

Wait my sources informed me that the re-signing is not yet a done deal and Spurs are still trying to 'look' around. So the signing is still not guaranteed.

I don't know why but it might be some European players are here in the US and if the front office likes what they see, they might sign them. But this is still based on pure speculation as of the moment.

Given the number of open spots left on the roster, you'd almost have to expect one of them's not coming back.

Unless PATFO makes everyone's day and jettisons Ayers.

There is no reason to bring both Daye and Bonner back. Unless you don't believe Daye can play the 4, why sign Bonner and not a young guy with upside?

Bonner, used situationally like he was used the last couple of years is not a bad option because he already knows the system and only becomes a liability when he is the only option available.
The same with Baynes.
Ayers is the one I question.

At this point Bonner is superior to Daye in the rotation. Sad to say that Bonner plays better defense then Daye but it is true and he can knock down the open 3. Ayres and his "stone hands" have to go but somehow I don't see the FO giving him the boot. For better or worse we are stuck with what we have.

Okay Bonner will resign. Don't know much about Baynes' situation though. FO might have other plans
