NOT fair that Dallas got it's own custom license plate!

Who's got political connections? Strike while the Iron is hot!

I'm on a board with Bruce Guthrie, but he's never at the damn meetings or luncheons!! If he would just show up once in a while, I could talk to him. I need to talk to him about our holiday party, so I may just have to e-mail his happy ass. I'll ask him then.

Spurs Plates would be sweet. Maybe even add three trophies by the logo.

I wonder what the rings are going to look like, the diamond look in my opinion looked better than the onyx look. Will the look of the ring get leaked out before they are actually given to the players?

1st off - the spurs have been NBA champs 3 F***ing times !! Show some respect TXDOT!

It has nothing to do with TXDOT. The Spurs have to request the plates and pay for them. The initial investment is $15,000, but they get back $22 out of every $30 that each plate costs. Basically, 700 people out of the entire state of Texas have to buy a plate for the Spurs to break even on their initial investment. After that, the profits could benefit the Spurs Foundation.

well there has got to be more than 700 just in San Antonio who would want that plate.... and i'm sure the players themselves would get Spurs plates for thier snazzy vehicles. :fro

No doubt - they'd sell 700 in a snap.

They could probably get half that just off this message board.

(edit - I wonder how many Rockets, Astros, and Rangers fans want their team plates as well. Young lawyers, citrus growers, and urban forestry enthusiasts got their own!)
