I pick Popovich. I'd ask all kinds of questions about being a mad genius.

Pop. The man is well travelled, and although he's intelligent and complex, he doesn't seem inflated with ego. He'd be fun to talk to.

David Robinson is too evangelical. I loved him as a player, but I'd pass on lunch.

I think that lunch with David would be very interesting, but I would love to have lunch with Pop.

I would pick lunch with Pop too.

I would like to understand why, not just trust, his decisions are the right ones.

Pop.

I'd ask him what he had against Malik Rose. Ask him how soon Rasho will leave. Ask him why the hell he thought Carl Herrera was such a great player or, if he didn't, why he decided to play him more minutes than socially acceptable. Then I'd tell him I know that his daughter threw a party at his house while he was coaching in Athens, broke into his wine cellar, and allowed two people to sleep on his bed.

Then I'd get up to use the restroom and stick him with the tab.

Hey, if I'm going to shell out tens of thousands for lunch with him, I sure as hell am getting my money's worth.

You beat me to it :tu

I think it would be fun to talk about basketball with pop - if he would for once answer the questions truthfully - otherwise might as well talk about wine :lol

I guess you could ask Pop more questions than David but David is awesome and I have always wanted to meet him.

That is the only thing I still would love to experience.
Going to a game with David or having lunch with him.
Just a time to sit down and talk one on one with him without a time schedule.

The only other thing on the agenda for me is attending his induction into the Hall fo Fame in 3 years.

David Robinson is my all time favorite player easily. But since he has stopped playing he has seemed to have gotten all preachy. I would probably choose Pop.

In 2016: Pop, maybe. Though, D-Rob might not be in a rush and be less likely to big time you.

Great question, but I'd have to go with D Rob. Unfortunately for him this would be me:
