Everyone saw how he was stopped/defended by Green and outplayed by Manu in the finals. But let's also not forget that everyone was claiming him to be "back" just before the finals started due to his performance against Indy in the ECF. Yes he missed 28(?) games in the Regular Season, yes the Heat were carried by Lebron all throughout the year but is Wade really done or did he just have a bad match-up in the Finals?

Here are his 2014 stats:

19 Ppg(his second lowest of his career but let's be honest 19 ain't low)
4.7 APG
4.5 RPG(5 being his career average)
55% fg 5% higher than his career average

Per 36
20.8 pts
5.1 assists
4.9 rpg

Advanced
.588TS (higher than his average)
22 PER
110 ORTG(111 ave)
106 DRtg(103 ave)

His playoff stats are also decent-good too. Im too lazy to write em down here though. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/wadedw01.html

He's not done, but how we will he hold up having to carry a larger load? Miami will hard pressed to sit him like they did last year.

He rested for most of the regular season and received secondary defensive attention, so it does seem like he's mostly finished as an all-star type of player..

Not sure his style of play fits in today's league, as he can't shoot from outside, too..

To be fair, he was out of shape last year, so maybe he will look more explosive/quick if he has a nice off-season where he loses 10 pounds..

That's their biggest problem. No one will carry them through the 82 game regular season. Not Wade, and certainly not pussy Bosh.

His defense is already abysmal. They had no problem hiding him in the east, but he was exposed once they had nowhere to hide him. How many times did Lebron say "every one of their guys is live?" Direct shot at Wade's D.
It's going to be a shitshow next year, not playing next to the league's premier wing defender.
He's still going to get 15+ ppg so I wouldn't use the term "done." But he's done being a winning player, or Lebron would still be in Miami.

Every time Green drove past Wade, and JVG said something like "Wow! I had no idea Green had that kind of game!" I lol'd hard.

And Lebron isn't shooting as well as he did last year either. They all benefitted from playing with each other.

But Bron and Wade, unlike say Kobe, historically have shot well.

As a fan, I've switched between saying he's done and having hope. Who knows. Gino looked done in 13 too. Granted, now Wade has way more burden to shoulder, but there's an outside chance he gets his conditioning right so that he can be effective for a longer stretch.

Yep, you can broker your abandoned ass with the carcass of Kobe. Chickenshit and piss pot to do so, but, there it is.
