I'll ignore your immaturity.
Johnny was a huge fan of old time blues, his heros were Robert Johnson, Son House and not so old time Muddy Waters who he ended up recording with. A true white blues legend. His cover of Johnson's..."Come Into My Kitchen"...the best cover of a Robert Johnson tune and tons have tried it.
You'd wanna mix Johnny in with....early Bob Dylan, Leon Russell, Joe Cocker, Savoy Brown, Canned Heat, Dr. John.
R.I.P.
As good as white man blues gets.

Saw him at the Municipal Auditorium back in the 70's. Sat down on the floor near the stage. Very loud show. My ears rang for two days.
