He only did 6 in Miami because Riley's retarded ass retired 23 for Jordan. People can make fun of the Spurs for retiring Avery Johnson's #6, but at least they didn't retire the number of the competition. :lol

It'd be nice for Cavs fans if he went back to 23 so they don't have to buy new jerseys (if they didn't already burn them)

Glad he's not doing 32 like it was rumored.

The 23 jersey makes for a handy mnemonic if one ever forgets his record in the finals.

For someone who is so self-aware, I don't know why Lebron would ever go back to #23. As if he's not living in MJ's shadow enough tbh.

Hopefully he picks #6 so all the faggots who burned their jerseys need to buy new ones....

Well, they would have to buy new ones either way, tbh.

Lebron probably trolled MJ in 2010 by switching to Russell's number. I don't see why he should switch back. IMO 6 is a much better number than 23.

I always got the impression that players like Russell, Kareem, Magic and Bird wanted the newer generation to carry forward their legacy and take the game to the next level. MJ, not so much. And that's why he's a terrible role model for the game of basketball. He also doesn't respect the current generation. And i think players like Lebron and Durant have started to respect the older generation players.

LeBron switched numbers because the Heat retired Jordan's number.

Never did like Dad Killer much. Sure, he is the GOAT, but I was never a fan.

Spurs ARE going to retire #20 for a Heat and Mavericks player :downspin:
