I don't know how many of you in the forum golf, but I love the game and I hadn't gotten a chance to play very much for about a year or so.

I played quite a bit before, and played the Willow Springs course very often. My best score there was an 87, and I'd average 90-100.

Over the last 2 months, I've gone to the range about 5-6 times, and played the Blossom par-3 about 3 times--not doing very well, mind you.

I decided to try my hand on the big course, and I went to Willow today and shot a 5-under 67 (5 birdies, 13 pars, no bogeys).

I was pinching myself all day, making shot after shot, putt after putt, including a 40-foot birdie at #8.

(I must say that the $320.00 I forked over for the new 460cc Nike Ignite Driver was well worth it)

BTW, the IGnite is good, but get the FT3, that dog is a bomber.

No bogeys? If you're not lying, you're the luckiest SOB with a 12+ handicap I've ever heard of.

Congrats. You should be enjoying an adult beverage right now.
