Westbrook. Durant just plays the game the way it's suppossed to be played, Westbrook is just fucking crazy.

Durants the better player and he's supposed to be the master of the house, but his dog is the one putting a leash on him.

Durant's beta mentality

Westbrook is not afraid to chuck in crunch time

If he misses he misses, but if it goes in it goes in

At least he is not afraid to take big shots

Durbeta by far... too pussy to tell Westbrook to chill out when he's playing too wildly, instead preferring to let Westbrook chuck so he can be the scapegoat for Durbeta's failures....

Westbrook was by far the better player this last postseason imo. Durant goes beta mode and his team gets shat on while Alphabrook is doing everything he can to win tbh.

:lol slipping and falling while turning the ball over on your team's last possession of the season

The Westbrook hate is beyond irrational, especially given his last playoffs, he was the best player on the court against the Clippers & Spurs.

That too.... Media fuels the hate against Westbrook (and Brooks) in order to shield their golden boy Durbeta from any criticism....

role players not playing up to the supposed standard imo.

Durant was tired from carrying the team all season long while Westbrook was chillin on a couch, tbh.

The problem is not just his chucking. He does a bad job of controlling the tempo and running the offense.

i actually gained a lost of respect for westchimp during the WCF... despite that last shot that went over the backboard. Durant is the issue

Durant and Howard would've been a better pairing.

Westbrook can't pass or run an offense. It takes away from all the benefits his other talents bring to the table. He's a net positive, but only barely, and he negates a lot of what Durant could be doing out there.

Thunder need to just trade for a Rondo or some other pass-first PG who can actually find his teammates with a pass.

Brooks is the bigger issue, IMO... short on ideas, short in general...

When Russ was yelling at KD to pay attention on D, that should've been Brooks. He's the coach, and he's the guy that's supposed to get in his own player's faces when they fuck up.

The problem is he's too scared about losing his job and KD walking to do what's best for the team.

Maybe Durant is "beta" because he never gets the ball passed to him by his ball-hog PG. :lol Watch game 6 of the WCF this year, in the fourth quarter (or OT) I think Durant gets passed the ball just a handful of times, maybe 5 or so...

I think the games of both Durant and Westbrook are very good and dynamic, but it's absurd to think that the Thunder's problems come from Durant...

During the second half of Game 6, WCF when KD didn't attempt a shot in like 6 - 8 mins, Reggie & Kerr were like "don't they have the MVP of this league."

Durant and it ain't even close tbh.

There are idiots out there who believe that

Maybe he should grow a pair and demand the ball more, then... of course, he won't do that, because when Westbrook's chucking, there's zero pressure on Durbeta to step up and win because Westbrook gets all the blame when they lose....

From time to time. However, I think it's mostly a coaching and depth problem. Scott Brooks has proven to not be a very good coach for this team with the talent he has, but I suppose this upcoming year will be his final chance to prove all or nothing.

I don't think that Durant doesn't demand the ball more, and I figured that you being a LeBron sympathizer would understand that he is more of a passive, team-oriented player in a system shrouded by disarray. Durant contrasts starkly with Westbrook's Iverson level of mentality of him as the primary offensive option, and I don't think he wants to cause any additional dysfunction in a team that is oriented on iso ball with an aggressive offensively PG.

Regardless, Durant's skills cannot be ignored, even by people who think that he isn't a dominant player. He's still young and has many chances to win a ring.

I think all of this ends up leading to Durant bolting to the Wizards in the next few years, where they take over the East now that LeBron dissipated the Miami Heat. I will guarantee that Durant will lead a team to a championship, he has too much talent to not be on a team that will go that far. Hell, Game 6 this year of the WCF could have gone to either team, and I think that the Thunder would have beaten this Miami Heat team in the Finals.

Didn't know DPG has a brother named Brooks, tbh.
