Splitter and former spur Alex Garcia are on the brazilian team.
Gonna cheer for them even though I don't see them getting anywhere near a medal.

Marcelinho is always fun to watch in international play. Is Nene playing for Brazil?

If he doesn't get injured until the WC, then he will play

I think we all don't mind seeing Boris playing. He doesn't play heavy minutes in regular season, he is younger than Manu, has been more durable, just doesn't take the same punishment driving through the lane that Manu does, has more backup at his position than Manu does (temporarily due to Patty's injury) and can use the continued conditioning. So, as a Spurs fan, I like it, too, but no need to extrapolate any further logical equivalancies. Boris=/=Manu.

It's just embarrassing how many U.S players have pulled out of the competition thus far. In the last 2 weeks Kawhi, Westbrook, Griffin, and Love have all withdrawn from playing.

To the rest of the world THIS basketball competition is the ultimate one, NOT the Olympics. And if the U.S loses, they'll be mocked and laughed at harder than they would if they had lost in the Olympics. You all laugh at the U.S competing now, but you won't once they lose on national television in front of the whole world in a few months.
